Seattle Search Network Rebrands to Welcome Paid Search Professionals
SEATTLE, WA. –The Seattle SEO Network, a 501(c)(6) trade association founded in 2010 to represent online marketers specializing in search engines has rebranded itself as the “Seattle Search Network”(SSN) to reflect a broadened focus on all forms of search marketing. The group originally specialized in organic search and has now expanded to include paid forms of search marketing such as PPC and display advertising. The group empowers Internet marketing professionals by facilitating networking opportunities, sharing industry resources, and hosting regular SEO/SEM events.
“The association is evolving to help its members flourish,”Carl Larson, Secretary and co-founder of the group, explains, “While SEO and SEM are commonly siloed disciplines pursued separately by marketers, advanced marketing strategy typically includes both.”By uniting both paid search and SEO professionals in the Puget Sound region, the Seattle Search Network will be able to offer more comprehensive benefits to members and their clients.
“The local aspect of Seattle Search Network has been very beneficial to my career,” Vinny Spencer, Costco’s Ecommerce Manager says, “It has allowed me to make contacts that I can discuss real ideas, questions and challenges face-to-face with, gives me an opportunity to build a local network….and it all happens over beers!”
The group provides in-house, agency, and freelance Internet marketers with the necessary tools to develop as thought leaders in their industry, while networking and learning from their peers. By providing access to resources including industry speakers and experts, events, SEO/SEM resources, and a job board, Seattle Search Network helps busy professionals stay competitive and informed on the latest happenings in the Search Marketing industry.
The Seattle Search Network offers free membership to all online marketing professionals. Membership includes access to the network’s SEO/SEM event hosted through meetup.com, held on the second Tuesday of each month , along with private invite-only meetings for professional SEO/SEM members.
